World of Warcraft Druid Guide
The druid is the most versatile class in the game. There are four roles that theĀ druid can fill while every other class can only fill from one to three roles. They are tanking, healing, melee damage per second (DPS), and ranged DPS. This World of Warcraft druid guide will help you to understand the many options of a druid. Druids shapeshift into different forms to enhance their different abilities. Bear form grants increased armor and hit points and is used for tanking. Cat form increases melee DPS. Moonkin for is used for attack magic and Tree for is for healing. All druids can buff their allies with Mark of the Wild and Thorns. Innervate can be used every three minutes on a friend or on yourself to restore a great deal of mana.

World of Warcraft Druid guide to specs:
Balance
This tree is focused on offensive spellcasting. Once you are high enough level, you gain the ability to shapeshift into a Moonkin. Moonkins are very dangerous casters that use arcane and nature spells to strike down their foes. Moonkins are very useful in groups because of an aura they have that gives their team a greater chance to hit the enemy. Another bonus of a Moonkin is that he can quickly shift into caster form and assist healing if the group gets into a tight spot.
Feral
This talent tree is unique as there are two ways to specialize within the same tree. The specializations are Tanking in Bear form and doing melee DPS in Cat form. There is some overlap among the abilities but for the best results, a druid will focus on one of the other depending on his main role. Bear tanks have extremely high hit points and armor. They are excellent for tanking melee attackers. Cats, on the other hand, are the offensive melee attackers who use stealth and agility to rip the enemy to shreds.
Restoration
This is the healing spec for a druid. Once specced deeply enough into restoration, a druid gains the ability to shapeshift into a tree which gives him increased healing power. Trees heal their party mainly with heal over time (HoT) spells. When a druid gets multiple HoT’s on a party member, it can be very hard for the enemy to do enough damage to kill him.
This basic World of Warcraft druid guide gives you a glimpse of the versatility and options that a druid has. It can seem overwhelming but your abilities are introduced over time while you are leveling so that you can grow accustomed to all the options.
